In this way, he had lost four matches in a row. Now CSK had to face defeats to RCB, Gujarat, Delhi and Punjab this season.

CSK’s Struggle Against Punjab Kings

If CSK has suffered the most defeats in IPL since 2022, then it is Punjab Kings. Punjab have defeated CSK five times since 2022. In this case, Punjab left behind Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans who have defeated CSK four times each. At the same time, Chennai has faced three defeats against Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Conway left behind Sai Sudarshan

Devon Conway scored a half-century for CSK against Punjab. Shivam Dubey and Devon Conway added 89 runs in 51 balls for the third wicket. Conway played a strong innings of 69 runs in this match. During this time he completed his half century in just 37 balls. Along with this, Conway also completed 1000 runs in IPL. He became the third batsman to complete 1000 runs in the shortest innings. He surpassed Sai Sudarshan and Matthew Hayden in this regard. Sudarshan and Hayden completed 1000 runs in IPL in 25 innings, while Conway did it in 24 innings.
