Chandigarh, 08 October 2024: Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat has emerged victorious in the Julana seat of Jind district, defeating BJP’s Captain Yogesh Bairagi by 6,015 votes.
Phogat secured 65,080 votes, while Bairagi received 59,065 votes.
In another result, Krishna Lal Midha of the BJP won the Jind Assembly seat, defeating Congress’s Mahaveer Gupta by 16,205 votes.
Midha garnered 68,570 votes, compared to Gupta’s 52,365 votes.
