Chandigarh, Feb 27: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President Aman Arora stated on Friday that the acquittal of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia marks a definitive victory for truth over politically motivated fabrications. During a press conference in Chandigarh, Arora maintained that the court’s decision has dismantled what he described as a “bundle of lies” created by the central government to target the party’s top leadership.

The Punjab leader affirmed that the special court’s rejection of the case proves the allegations were a conspiracy intended to stifle Arvind Kejriwal’s growing influence. Accompanied by cabinet colleagues, Arora asserted that the legal proceedings were used as a tool for political defamation rather than the pursuit of justice. He noted that the court found no prima facie evidence to support the prosecution’s theory, which he stated was based on mere conjecture.

Arora declared that the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister should apologize to the nation for the misuse of central investigating agencies. He maintained that targeting a sitting Chief Minister and senior leaders through false cases is a low point in the country’s political history. According to the AAP leader, the court even suggested that the officers involved in constructing the case should face departmental inquiries for their roles in the matter.

“This is not just a victory for the Aam Aadmi Party, but a victory for justice,” Arora asserted. He stated that true leadership is defined by public service and development rather than the attempt to eliminate political rivals through legal entrapment. He maintained that the central government should now redirect its focus toward addressing the genuine issues of the common people instead of pursuing vendetta politics.
