Chandigarh, March 26: The Haryana government initiated a significant administrative overhaul on Thursday, ordering the transfer of 21 IAS and 42 HCS officers across various departments. Among the key changes, Amit Kumar Agrawal, who serves as Commissioner and Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Member Secretary for the Kurukshetra Development Board.
The reshuffle also sees Geeta Bharti taking charge as the new Commissioner of the Hisar Division. Meanwhile, Ravi Prakash Gupta has been appointed to oversee the Urban Estate department as Secretary, while simultaneously serving as the Commissioner for the Gurugram Division. Officials stated that these appointments are intended to streamline governance and improve departmental efficiency across the state.
Further appointments include Narhari Singh Bangar as the Managing Director of CONFED and Satyender Duhan as the Director of Skill Development and Industrial Training. In the health and safety sectors, Satbir Singh will now serve as the Director of Fire Services and CEO of Ayushman Bharat. Managing the Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation will be Vandana Disodia, who also takes on duties as Additional Secretary for the Home-I and Home-II departments.
