Mansa, March 31: Tensions escalated as local residents staged a protest demanding the immediate relocation of a police station’s entrance, citing a long-standing land dispute. Panchayat member Harinder Singh Mann maintained that the issue dates back several years, asserting that a 2020 panchayat deliberation had already been decided in favor of the village body.
Protesters questioned the delay in shifting the access point and stayed on-site to press their demands. As the demonstration continued, authorities stated that additional police personnel were called in to maintain order and prevent any potential confrontation at the scene.
