IFSHAN, APRIL 5: The United States military reportedly destroyed two of its own advanced transport aircraft during a high-stakes mission to extract a stranded F-15E fighter jet crew from deep within Iranian territory. Sources familiar with the operation stated that the destruction of the MC-130J aircraft became a mechanical and strategic necessity to ensure sensitive American technology did not fall into foreign hands.

Reports from the Wall Street Journal and other major outlets affirmed that the aircraft, which are specifically designed for covert infiltration and extraction, were blown up on the ground. While officials did not provide a detailed explanation for how the transport planes became compromised, they asserted that the decision to neutralize the assets was a tactical requirement of the mission.

“On-ground assessment shows that two C-130 planes and two Black Hawk helicopters were downed south of Isfahan,” a spokesperson for Iran’s unified armed forces command declared. These claims regarding the helicopters, however, remain unverified by American sources.

The mission has drawn conflicting narratives from Washington and Tehran. While the White House hailed the extraction as a daring success for the U.S. military, Iranian officials maintained that the American presence at an abandoned airport in southern Isfahan was a failure.

“The so-called US military rescue operation… was completely foiled,” Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesman for the Iranian military’s central command, asserted. Iranian parliamentary speaker MB Ghalibaf added a sharp critique, stating that if the United States continues to achieve “victories” at such a high cost of equipment, it would lead to its ruin.
