The high-alert response followed an electronic mail communication sent to the municipal corporation’s public portal. Officials confirmed that the automated threat specified an execution timeline preceding June 6, forcing an immediate tactical response from district police teams.
“I informed the Police Commissioner as soon as I received the threatening mail,” Municipal Commissioner Neeru Katyal stated. “As a precaution, the entire building has been evacuated and an investigation has been started.”
Police investigators noted that the digital communication originated from an electronic address registered under the name ‘Jennifer Senuta’ during the early hours of Monday. The correspondence carried the specific subject line “Bomb Blast – Mayor’s Office” Ludhiana.
The electronic threat outlined distinct detonation schedules for both locations. It asserted that an explosive device would detonate at the Municipal Corporation’s Zone A Mayor’s Office at 1:11 p.m., while a second detonation was scheduled for Dosanjh’s urban residence at 9:11 p.m.
District officials authorized a complete perimeter lockdown of the Zone A administrative facility, redirecting civilian traffic away from the sector while personnel conducted floor-by-floor inspections. Heavily armed police units established static guard posts around the singer’s residential property to secure all access points.
