Patiala, August 26: A heavy atmosphere of grief descended upon Dhillon Colony in Samana as Indian Air Force personnel Gurvinder Singh and his wife Loveleen Kaur were consigned to flames with full state honors following a fatal road accident in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Family members stated that the collision occurred on Sunday when a speeding car struck the motorcycle carrying 28-year-old Gurvinder Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh, and 26-year-old Loveleen Kaur while traveling through Jamnagar. The severe impact caused both riders to fall onto the roadway, sustaining critical injuries. Medical authorities at the local hospital pronounced both individuals dead upon arrival.

Gurvinder Singh had enlisted in the Indian Air Force approximately seven and a half years ago, serving as a Leading Aircraftman Auto Tech at the Jamnagar Air Force Station. The couple had been married for only four months prior to the incident.
Following the arrival of their mortal remains in Samana, military personnel, local authorities, and residents assembled to pay their respects during the final rites. Air Force officials presented formal honors while family members and community leaders expressed profound condolences over the tragic loss.
