Sonepat, Sep 3: A severe road accident on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway claimed the lives of three workers and left nine others injured in Haryana’s Sonepat district on Thursday.
The incident unfolded in the Kharkhoda area when an unidentified vehicle rammed into a van transporting the group from Uttar Pradesh. The passengers were traveling toward Beri in Jhajjar when the impact occurred along the high-speed corridor.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the site shortly after receiving information about the collision to initiate relief operations and clear the stretch. Authorities confirmed that the injured were swiftly moved to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment, with several individuals receiving care for serious wounds.
Inspector Anil, SHO of Kharkhoda police station, maintained that three labourers died in the incident, while the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to trace the vehicle involved in the crash.
