CHANDIGARH: Beneficiaries under Punjab’s Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana can now access and download their health cards directly from the State Health Agency’s official digital portal. The new service allows verified families to download their health cards in portable document format directly onto mobile devices or obtain printed physical copies. Agency officials affirmed that the measure removes the requirement for citizens to visit physical enrollment centers solely to collect card copies.
To retrieve card records, users can search the portal using their family identification, health card reference, registered contact details, or identity credentials. Access requires passing an automated one-time authentication code sent to the registered mobile contact. Officials emphasized that completing photograph-based verification and digital mandatory authentication remains a mandatory prerequisite before generating any card copy, as raw downloads do not substitute for formal beneficiary verification.
The Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana provides eligible households across Punjab with cashless medical coverage up to ₹10 lakh annually for covered inpatient services. Health administrators stated that enabling direct digital access reduces paperwork burdens and accelerates administrative clearance when families seek medical care at empanelled healthcare facilities.
