CHANDIGARH, SEPT 26 — The Haryana government notified formal toll rates for designated stretches across three major roads in the Gurugram-Faridabad belt, establishing charges between Rs 40 and Rs 350 depending on vehicle categories.
Issued by the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, the official notification covers key sections of the Gurugram-Faridabad road, the Crusher Zone road, and the Ballabhgarh-Sohna road. While single toll collection points will manage the Gurugram-Faridabad and Crusher Zone stretches, authorities confirmed that two toll points are designated along the Ballabhgarh-Sohna route.
Under the revised framework, light motor vehicles including cars, jeeps, pickup vans, three-wheelers, and station wagons will pay Rs 40 per single trip. Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and Low Powered Trucks are assessed at Rs 140, whereas passenger buses face a Rs 170 charge. Standard motor trucks up to 10 tyres will incur a Rs 300 fee, while multi-axle heavy vehicles, earthmovers, and cranes are set at the upper rate of Rs 350.
Tractor-trolleys carrying construction and quarry materials will be charged Rs 80 per journey. Department officials affirmed that return journeys completed within specified timeframes can be made at one-and-a-half times the single-trip rate.
State authorities declared complete toll exemptions for two-wheelers, farm vehicles transporting agricultural produce, emergency services, defence personnel, and local non-commercial traffic residing near the toll corridors.
