Udhampur, Oct 15: At least 17 passengers were injured after a matador rolled down into a ditch at Dhalpar (Lakhoda) in Udhampur district on Thursday.
An official said, a matador bearing registration No. JK14C/2791 was on way from Udhampur to Jhonu Tanal when it reached at Dhalpar (Lakhoda), it rolled down into a ditch.
In the incident, 17 passengers travelling in the matador got injured. All the injured were shifted to GMC Udhampur for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Gayatri Devi of Sarsoo, Sudesh Kumar of Prowa, Anu Devi of Prowa, Shillo Devi of Prowa, Om Parkash of Prowa, Minakshi Devi of Dhanal, Sohan Lal of Dhanal, Harish Kumar of Prowa, Manisha Devi of Dhanal, Ashok Kumar of Saraoo, Darshan Kumar of Sarsoo, Joginder Kumar of Sarsoo, Kajal of Prowa, Jyoti Devi of Prowa, Anil Kumar of Dhanal, Ajay Kumar of Prowa and Akhilesh of Prowa.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
