Mansa, Oct 18: Famous Punjabi singer Babbu Maan visited the ongoing protest site in Mansa to demand justice in the murder case of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota. Upon arrival, the artist expressed deep sorrow by embracing Parvinder Jhota’s father, Fauji Bhim Singh.
Speaking before the gathering, Babbu Maan declared that such diamonds are not born in every home, affirming that Parvinder’s active stance in the war against drugs represents a monumental achievement. He noted that Sri Akal Takht Sahib has accorded Parvinder Singh the status of a martyr, emphasizing that the battle was not an isolated struggle but a collective fight for the people of entire Punjab.
Encouraging the grieving father, Babbu Maan maintained that Bapu Bhim Singh has demonstrated remarkable courage, proving through real-life resilience what true Punjabis represent. He asserted that real Punjabis focus on the welfare of their villages and Punjab while respecting others like their parents, rather than engaging in social media factionalism and online arguments. He affirmed that his visit was dedicated entirely to sharing the grief of the bereaved family.
