PRAYAGRAJ, FEBRUARY 24 – Actor Katrina Kaif visited the Mahakumbh Mela on Monday, taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. During her visit, she met Swami Chidanand Saraswati, president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and took his blessings.
Expressing her gratitude, Katrina said, “I am very fortunate to be here. The energy and beauty of this place are incredible. I look forward to spending the whole day here.” She was accompanied by her mother-in-law.
Her visit follows that of her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, who attended the Mahakumbh earlier this month ahead of his film Chhaava’s release. Actor Akshay Kumar also took part in the ritual, praising the arrangements. “I thank CM Yogi ji for the excellent facilities and management here,” he said, appreciating the efforts of security personnel.
As the grand Mahakumbh Mela nears its conclusion, the final major bathing ritual will take place on February 26, coinciding with Mahashivratri.
