Jalandhar, March 20: The Aam Aadmi Party has launched a public screening campaign in Punjab featuring a documentary by YouTuber Dhruv Rathee that claims to uncover a conspiracy behind the Delhi liquor scam. The first major screening was organized on Friday in Alawalpur town, Adampur, by Pawan Kumar Tinu, Chairman of the Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank. This move follows the recent court decision to discharge AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab AAP in-charge Manish Sisodia in the high-profile case.

Tinu stated that the video, titled “India’s biggest conspiracy, reality of Delhi liquor scam,” provides a detailed breakdown of the allegations that led to the incarceration of senior party leaders. He maintained that the documentary reveals how a “fake scam” was fabricated to politically defame the Delhi administration. The AAP leader affirmed that since the court found no evidence and declared the case baseless, it is essential for the public to understand the sequence of events that led to the legal victory.

Addressing a gathering after the screening, Tinu asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party orchestrated the legal challenges without a single shred of proof. He declared that the party intends to take this video to every village across the state to ensure the “truth” reaches the grassroots level. Several AAP representatives have already begun a coordinated push on social media to amplify the video’s reach ahead of the planned rural screenings.

The party maintained that the discharge of its top leadership has vindicated their stand that the liquor policy case was a tool for political intimidation. Tinu noted that the public response in Alawalpur indicates a high level of interest in the “counter-narrative” presented by independent media. He affirmed that the AAP will continue to use such digital content to challenge the opposition’s claims as they prepare for upcoming political engagements in Punjab.
