Chandigarh, Jan 30: The Haryana government on Friday implemented a reshuffle of its administrative lineup, transferring three Indian Administrative Service officers to new roles with immediate effect. Under the directions issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, the state has redistributed key responsibilities across the food, transport, and fisheries departments to streamline governance.

Raja Sekhar Vundru, a senior bureaucrat previously overseeing the Fisheries and Transport departments, has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs. While he takes on this new role, the government noted that he will maintain his current position as Additional Chief Secretary of the Transport Department. He has been officially relieved of his duties regarding the Fisheries Department to accommodate the shift.

“The orders for these transfers and postings are to be implemented with immediate effect,” Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi stated in the official communication.

Further changes include the movement of D Suresh, who served as the Resident Commissioner at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi and Principal Secretary for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs. He will remain the Resident Commissioner in the capital but has been shifted to serve as the Principal Secretary for the Fisheries Department.

In the junior administrative ranks, Shashvat Sangwan, who was the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) for Thanesar, has been moved to a state-level role. He is now the Mission Director for the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). The official notification mentioned that Jaideep Kumar, the outgoing director, will receive his new assignment in a separate order.
