New Delhi, June 20 — Air India on Friday cancelled eight flights, including four international services, citing enhanced maintenance and operational requirements. The airline said it is working to ensure that affected passengers are accommodated on alternative flights at the earliest.
“Air India teams on the ground are actively assisting passengers and offering full refunds or complimentary rescheduling options,” the airline said in a statement.
The cancelled international flights include:
- AI906 (Dubai to Chennai)
- AI308 (Delhi to Melbourne)
- AI309 (Melbourne to Delhi)
- AI2204 (Dubai to Hyderabad)
Domestically, the cancelled flights are:
- AI874 (Pune to Delhi)
- AI456 (Ahmedabad to Delhi)
- AI2872 (Hyderabad to Mumbai)
- AI571 (Chennai to Mumbai)
The airline has urged passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport and to contact customer service for rebooking assistance.
