Amitoj, Kavyansh clinch show jumping titles at Regional Equestrian League

Jaipur, Sept. 30 — Amitoj of Horse Heaven Equestrian Sports Club and Madhya Pradesh’s Kavyansh Goud emerged champions in their respective show jumping categories at the third Regional Equestrian League (REL), which concluded Monday at the Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy (SESA).

In the Young Rider Show Jumping, Amitoj, riding Hero, delivered a flawless round in 56.46 seconds without penalties to secure the gold. Vineet Parihar of Madhya Pradesh took second place in 64.23 seconds, while Siddhant Jaiswal of Sagar Equestrian Academy finished third in 70.13 seconds. Yuvraj Singh Rathore placed fourth.

In the Children-2 Show Jumping, Kavyansh Goud topped the field with a clean run of 53.03 seconds. SESA’s Tia Gupta finished second in 53.23 seconds with four penalty points, while Shaivya Raj clocked 59.23 seconds with four penalties for third place. Reena Gupta of Madhya Pradesh secured the fourth position.

The Children-1 Dressage title went to Madhya Pradesh’s Jaiwant Nawale, with state-mate Rajlaxmi finishing second. SESA’s Diya Sharma claimed third place, followed by Hanisha Gupta and Agastya Jaju.

In the Junior Dressage event, Dev Chaudhary of Madhya Pradesh emerged victorious, ahead of Divyaraj Singh Rathore of the same state. Divyansh Vaishnav of Mangalini Equestrian secured third position.

The three-day league brought together promising young equestrians from across the country. Officials noted that the event not only produced strong individual performances but also underlined Madhya Pradesh’s dominance in dressage.
