Babbar Khalsa Operative Arrested in UP-Punjab Police Joint Operation

Chandigarh, March 6 — In a joint operation, Uttar Pradesh Police and Punjab Police arrested Lajar Masih, an active operative of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Pakistan’s ISI, from Kaushambi’s Kokhraj police station area. Masih, a resident of Kurlian village in Amritsar, was wanted in multiple criminal cases in Punjab.

Authorities recovered a cache of arms and explosives from him, including hand grenades and a foreign-made pistol.

According to police, Masih was working under Germany-based BKI operative Swaran Singh, also known as Jeevan Fauji, who is closely linked to Pakistan-based BKI mastermind Harwinder Rinda and USA-based operative Happy Passian.

The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in counterterrorism efforts, with further investigations underway. Punjab and UP Police reaffirmed their commitment to dismantling terror networks and ensuring national security.
