Bathinda, January 4: Seven farmers sustained injuries when a bus carrying them to Tohana for a Mahapanchayat overturned on the Mansa National Highway due to dense fog.
According to reports, the bus, en route to the event organized by the United Kisan Morcha, lost balance and hit a pavement, leading to the accident. There were 20 to 25 farmers onboard at the time of the incident.
The injured farmers were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are investigating the incident, which highlights the risks posed by low visibility during the winter season.
