Mohali, May 11 — Pramurta Sinha, a student of Computer Science Engineering at CGC Landran, has secured an international job offer with an annual salary of Rs 1.14 crore. Sinha, who hails from Midnapore, West Bengal, will join a United States-based technology firm in the role of a backend engineer consultant.
The placement marks the highest package recorded during the institution’s current recruitment season. Sinha attributed his success to the academic rigor and the technical exposure provided at the campus, where he engaged in robotics and electronics alongside his core coding interests. He stated that the balanced focus on co-curricular activities played a vital role in his professional readiness.
“I am grateful to my parents and CGC Landran for shaping my career transformation,” Sinha affirmed. He noted that the institution’s environment was instrumental in helping him bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations.
Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu, President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, and Vice Chairman Parampal Singh Dhillon congratulated the student, describing the achievement as a milestone in the institution’s 25-year history. They asserted that such outcomes validate the college’s commitment to aligning its curriculum with the National Education Policy 2020.
