New Delhi/Chandigarh/Jammu, April 23: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday accused Robert Vadra of aligning with anti-national forces by blaming the Modi government for the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
“Is Robert Vadra speaking the language of those who sponsor terror against India?” Chugh asked, alleging that Vadra’s remarks echo hostile narratives, undermining national unity.
Chugh said Vadra, already facing multiple ED probes, had indirectly held the government responsible for the massacre even as Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called it a direct assault on India’s sovereignty.
“His statements are not just ignorant — they’re dangerous. They align with the very forces that carried out the attack,” Chugh said, adding that such remarks expose an alarming shift within the Gandhi family.
He demanded Sonia Gandhi clarify her stand and questioned Priyanka Gandhi’s silence, saying, “The Congress must explain if Vadra’s view is personal or part of a deeper ideological confusion.”
Tarun Chugh said that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cut short his Saudi Arabia visit to personally oversee the situation and ensure every detail of the Pahalgam attack is addressed, and Home Minister Amit Shah has already reached Kashmir to review ground operations, the Gandhi family is busy making accusations that align with anti-national forces.
“At a time when the entire government is focused on bringing the perpetrators to justice, the Gandhis are raising questions that embolden those who seek to harm India,” Chugh remarked.
Condemning the attack, Chugh said terrorists singled out victims based on their religion before opening fire — an act he called inhumane and demonic.
“This wasn’t just an attack on Pahalgam, it was an attack on India’s soul,” he said.
Chugh affirmed that under Prime Minister Modi’s zero-tolerance policy, “no terrorist will be spared,” and vowed that every martyr would be avenged.
