AAP leaders visit Art of Living Ashram; pray for peace and prosperity of Punjab

CHANDIGARH / BENGALURU: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday visited the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru alongside Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia to seek the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The leaders spent time meditating in the serene environs of the spiritual center and prayed for the overall progress, peace, and prosperity of Punjab as well as the nation.

 

Reflecting on the visit, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann maintained that meeting the spiritual leader was a divine experience that offered a profound sense of inner tranquillity and spiritual peace. He noted that Punjab has historically served as a central pillar of the nation’s civilisational identity, describing the land of five rivers as the proud defender of the country. He asserted that the resilience and brave spirit of the people of Punjab have enabled the state to weather countless challenges while upholding its secular character.

 

The Chief Minister affirmed that the state government remains dedicated to advancing economic growth while fostering moral and social values among the youth. Lauding Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for inspiring young minds through enlightened guidance, Bhagwant Singh Mann maintained that preserving communal harmony, universal brotherhood, and social equality is vital for building a progressive society.
