Chandigarh, 08 November 2024: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken charge of the election campaign for AAP candidate Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon, staging a robust push in Gidderbaha.

Mann held four rallies in the constituency today, marking his second visit this week after addressing six rallies on Tuesday.

“I’ll be here whenever you call, but it’s up to you to respond to those who’ve never delivered for you,” Mann told the crowd, urging them to vote for the AAP.

He contrasted Dhillon with Congress’s Raja Warring, saying, “Warring was the MLA sitting across from me in the Vidhan Sabha. Now, he’s moved to Delhi. Elect Dimpy this time, and he’ll sit beside me.”

Mann accused Warring of superficial engagement with voters, referencing a recent visit Warring made to a grain market.

“He spent a night at the grain market, but when have you seen him there before? Has he ever brought his own trolleys to mandis? They only show up when there’s something to gain,” Mann said.

“In the past two and a half years, Warring never approached me with a single demand for Gidderbaha. It’s time you teach him a lesson,” he urged the electorate.

Taking aim at BJP candidate Manpreet Badal, Mann remarked, “Badal often talks about an ‘empty treasury’ but fails to communicate in a language everyone understands, choosing instead to speak in Urdu.”
