BHIWANI, July 13 — Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 14 development projects worth ₹234.40 crore during the state-level Maharaja Daksha Prajapati Jayanti celebrations held in Bhiwani.
Addressing the gathering, Saini reaffirmed his government’s inclusive approach under the banner of “Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek,” promising holistic development across all communities. “In the next 15 days, the Prajapati community will be allotted panchayat land in 2,000 villages,” he announced.
The Chief Minister also unveiled a financial support scheme to help members of the community establish small-scale industries. “Those wanting to set up small businesses will be provided assistance to purchase machinery and construct buildings, along with a 15 percent subsidy,” he said.
Showcasing welfare measures for the Backward Class-A (BCA) category, under which the Prajapati community falls, Saini stated that the state is offering ₹8,000 in scholarships to students. Additionally, the financial aid for the marriage of BCA daughters has been increased from ₹41,000 to ₹51,000.
The event marked a significant outreach to the Prajapati community, with the Chief Minister reiterating his government’s commitment to uplift backward sections through education, entrepreneurship, and social welfare.
