Cricket Australia Monitors India-Pakistan Tensions Amid IPL Uncertainty!

May 9,2025:IPL 2025: Cricket Australia is constantly monitoring the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. Cricket Australia issued a statement saying that it is keeping an eye on the situation. Many Australian players are participating in IPL 2025. The match played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala was canceled due to a flood light malfunction.

Cricket Australia issued a statement saying, we are constantly monitoring the situation in Pakistan and India, which includes receiving regular advice and updates from the Australian Government, PCB, BCCI and local government officials and maintaining dialogue with our players and support staff present in the area.

Dhumal had given a statement on continuing IPL

Earlier, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal had said on Thursday that the BCCI is awaiting instructions from the Government of India regarding IPL 2025. Dhumal also confirmed that the 18th season of IPL will continue in the current situation. Different information was coming out after the match between Punjab and Delhi was canceled. News agency PTI had said that there was doubt over the remaining matches of this league. According to PTI, foreign players participating in the league had expressed security concerns. BCCI held a meeting on this. After the meeting, Arun Dhumal spoke to the media.

Lucknow Super Giants are to face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Friday in IPL. When asked about this match, Dhumal had said that ‘At present this match is going on, but the situation is still changing. A decision will be taken keeping in mind the best interest of all stakeholders.’
