NEW DELHI, MAY 22 — The Cockroach Janata Party launched a widespread social media campaign demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, citing systemic failures and lack of transparency in national competitive testing.
The digital initiative drew rapid engagement across major platforms, where an appeal video shared by the party founder accumulated more than 12 million views within its first hour of release. Data from organizers indicated that over 88,000 digital endorsements were recorded shortly after the launch. The political action responds directly to mounting national scrutiny surrounding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, an examination involving approximately 22 lakh medical aspirants.
“It is time to make the system accountable,” the party founder stated in the video message. The founder described the current crisis as a massive failure that threatens the academic security of lakhs of students across the country.
The campaign calls for extensive structural changes in how the National Testing Agency administers large-scale entrance tests. Party representatives stated that recurring administrative errors and leak allegations have severely damaged public confidence in India’s public education framework.
The Supreme Court of India previously initiated oversight measures regarding the ongoing examination dispute, which has drawn consistent critique from various student unions and opposition blocs. Neither the Ministry of Education nor the minister’s office provided an immediate statement regarding the digital campaign.
