Bhopal, 9 January 2025: A drone discovery inside Bhopal Central Jail’s new B-Section near the Hanuman temple caused alarm among jail officials and security agencies. Authorities swiftly launched an investigation to determine its purpose and origin.
The drone was spotted during a patrol by Sentinel Sonwar Chaurasia, who promptly informed senior officials after picking it up.
Following technical scrutiny, the drone was handed over to the local police for further examination.
Preliminary findings reveal no suspicious objects were attached to the device, but officials noted it was of Chinese make. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
