Zirakpur, Feb 2: A dispute over right-of-way on a narrow road turned fatal in Zirakpur’s Dhakoli area on Monday night when a 40-year-old bouncer opened fire on two individuals. The victim, 28-year-old Prince Kumar, died on the spot after being struck by two bullets in the chest during the heated exchange.

The incident occurred when an argument broke out between the victims and the suspect, Kuldeep Singh, regarding passing their vehicles on a constrained stretch of road. As the confrontation escalated, Singh allegedly drew his licensed .32 bore revolver and fired multiple shots at the men.

While Prince Kumar succumbed to his injuries immediately, his friend Bharat Bhushan was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the throat and remains in serious condition.

Following the shooting, police launched a search operation and arrested Singh within six hours. The weapon used in the crime has been seized, and authorities have moved to cancel the suspect’s arms license as part of the ongoing investigation into the violent encounter.
