Dubai, Dec 20: Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Friday launched the official jersey of the Nangal By Cycle (NBC) Club at a special event held in Dubai, lauding the initiative for promoting fitness, community bonding and sustainable living through cycling.

“Cycling is not just about physical health; it builds stronger communities and encourages a responsible lifestyle,” Singh said while interacting with club members at the launch.

NBC founder Rohit Garg said the club was driven by grassroots-level efforts to promote cycling, fitness and environmental awareness. “Our vision is to make cycling a way of life and inspire people to adopt healthier and more sustainable habits,” he said.

Club president Karan Chaudhary described the jersey launch by a sportsperson of Harbhajan Singh’s stature as a proud moment for the town. “This recognition validates our efforts and strengthens our resolve to take NBC to greater heights,” he said. “His support will energise our members and help us reach a wider audience.”
