Chandigarh, Jan. 23– Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has made a lasting impact during his 100 days in office in his second term, winning praise for his approachable leadership and decisive actions.
His tenure is characterized by a focus on transparency, inclusivity, and instantaneous governance, securing him widespread acclaim and a distinct identity in state politics. Following his unique administrative approach, the BJP achieved a third-term mandate in Haryana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, impressed by Saini’s leadership, referred to him as “humble, prudent, and wise,” often accentuating these traits during public addresses in Haryana.
Saini has become a trending personality on social media platforms, reflecting his growing influence across the state.
His government’s motto—“No oppression, no corruption; thousands of jobs without bribes”—resonated with citizens, further bolstering his popularity.
Fulfilling his electoral promises, Saini distributed over 25,000 appointment letters for government positions on Oct. 17, 2024, a day before taking his oath as chief minister.
In a departure from Haryana’s traditionally confrontational political culture, Saini has earned praise even from opposition leaders.
At a recent event in Sirsa to lay the foundation for a medical college, Saini personally ensured the participation of local MLA Gokul Sethia, who had initially left in protest.
Saini waited for the legislator and escorted him to the venue, allowing Sethia to address the crowd.
Further cementing his inclusive approach, Saini held a rally on Jan. 20 in his home constituency, Narayangarh, where he announced ₹43.50 crore worth of development projects.
Congress MLA Shaily Chaudhary attended and praised Saini’s governance, calling him a “popular leader.”
Known for his humility and efficiency, Saini’s administration has already left a lasting mark, setting the tone for his government’s future endeavours.
