Chandigarh: The Haryana government has issued fresh posting and transfer orders for five police personnel, including four Indian Police Service officers, revoking assignments announced just two days prior. The Home Department released the revised directive on Saturday without citing specific reasons for modifying the earlier postings. Under the modified orders, 2015-batch IPS officer Narender Bijarniya, who was previously posted as Karnal Superintendent of Police before being assigned to the Special Task Force, will now serve as Commandant of the 1st Indian Reserve Battalion at Bhondsi in Gurugram.
The modified list also reshuffles several key district and departmental assignments across the state police structure. 2014-batch IPS officer Lokender Singh, who had earlier been designated as SP Security (CID), has been posted as SP, State Crime Branch. Additionally, 2019-batch IPS officer Medha Bhushan will take charge as SP, Panipat, while 2020-batch IPS officer Deepti Garg assumes the role of SP, Palwal. Meanwhile, Haryana Police Service officer Pooja Dabla retains her posting as SP, Recruit Training Centre at Bhondsi, with her concurrent charge as Commandant of the 1st IRB being relieved under the fresh order.
