Chief Minister reviews department progress to ensure timely delivery of services

Chandigarh, Jan 30: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has signaled a shift toward a more result-oriented fiscal policy for Haryana, stating that the 2026–27 Budget will serve as a roadmap for balanced growth and social justice. The state aims to utilize technological innovation to ensure that every section of society finds its aspirations reflected in the upcoming financial document.

Presiding over a departmental review, the Chief Minister checked the implementation status of current schemes and urged a spirit of public service among the bureaucracy. He said that the upcoming budget would give new dimensions to the state’s development and bring a positive change to the lives of residents.

“In this direction, continuous meetings are being held with various stakeholders and officers to deliberate in detail on every aspect,” Saini said. He also noted that efforts will be made to improve the quality of services in sectors like women and child development, rural development, and health.

The meeting saw participation from various state leaders, including Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar and Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel. The ministers discussed ways to accelerate the pace of development while maintaining transparency in the formulation process.

Saini said the government is committed to a budget that is both inclusive and transparent. He noted that by leveraging tools like artificial intelligence, the state will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of its programs more accurately to ensure they meet the specific needs of the people.
