Chandigarh, Sept 22: In a fresh administrative overhaul, the Haryana Government issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS and three HCS officers. Among the major reassignments, 2009-batch IAS officer Mani Ram Sharma was appointed as Managing Director of the Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited. Sharma, who was previously under scrutiny during a CBI investigation regarding a financial scam but was not chargesheeted, will also retain his current responsibilities as Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department alongside Chief Settlement Commissioner.
The reshuffle also expanded responsibilities for senior administrative leaders across economic and infrastructure portfolios. Yash Garg, Director General of Industries and Commerce, was assigned additional charge as Managing Director of HARTRON, while 2010-batch IAS officer Rajnarayan Kaushik assumed charge as Managing Director of the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation. Additionally, 2016-batch IAS officer Dr Munish Nagpal was posted as Special Secretary for the Health Department, with Aniruddh Yadav receiving additional charge as Mission Director for the Urban Challenge Fund Scheme.
The state government also reassigned key Haryana Civil Services officers to handle health administration and social welfare initiatives. Kanwar Singh was posted as Joint Director of the Food and Drugs Administration and Joint CEO of Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority. Officers Nasseb Kumar and Mayank Verma were likewise entrusted with expanded administrative roles within state welfare boards and urban local bodies to ensure streamlined governance.
