Malaysia, April 6: A defining moment for Indian pageantry, Geetanjali Om Parkash has been named Mrs International World Classic 2026 following the grand finale in Kuala Lumpur. The Amritsar-based healthcare leader stood out among international contestants, securing not only the main title but also the “Mrs Empowerment” honor. This victory represents a significant milestone, as she is the first Indian woman to secure this prestigious international accolade.

The competition highlighted both her poise and her commitment to social causes. During the National Costume Round, her attire was recognized as the most exotic of the evening, while her performance in the personal interview round showcased her dedication to women’s rights. Om Parkash asserted that her advocacy is rooted in opening up economic avenues for women and fostering confidence through skill-based training for the youth.

Her success is viewed by many as a testament to perseverance, particularly given her past health struggles with rheumatoid arthritis. She stated that there were times when she feared she might not walk again, yet she chose to pursue a path of recovery and strength. “Experience is strength, and the most beautiful chapter of life can still lie ahead,” she maintained, urging other women not to let age limit their aspirations.

As the Managing Director of a prominent eye institute in Punjab, Om Parkash balances her professional responsibilities with her new role as a global ambassador. Supporters affirmed that her triumph is more than a personal win; it is a movement that challenges societal perceptions of age. India continues to celebrate its new queen, whose message of “standing tall” resonates with women across the country.
