Shimla, November 26: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) on Wednesday announced the annual exam schedule for Classes X and XII for the 2025–26 academic session, confirming that both practical and theory examinations will be conducted between February and April 2026.
Board chairman Rajesh Sharma said practical exams for both regular and open school students will run from February 20 to February 28, 2026. Theory papers for Class X are scheduled from March 3 to March 28, while Class XII students will sit for their exams from March 3 to April 1. All written examinations will be held in the morning session from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., he said.
The Board also released its evaluation timeline. Answer books will be collected from examination centers starting March 12, with packet opening and receipt scheduled for March 17. Spot evaluation will take place from April 2 to April 22.
According to HPBOSE, result processing will begin on April 23, and the Board aims to declare the annual results on April 30, 2026.
