Hamirpur, June 11, 2025 — Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur, has begun the counselling process for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the upcoming academic session. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications until June 30, university officials announced Wednesday.
The university is accepting counselling applications for multiple programs including B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Arch, and several other technical and professional courses offered at HPTU and its affiliated government and private institutions.
“All candidates who have appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Technical University must apply online for counselling,” a university spokesperson said, noting that the process is mandatory even for CET-qualified applicants.
In addition, candidates seeking direct admission into B.Tech programs through JEE Main scores are also required to submit online counselling applications, the spokesperson clarified.
Information regarding eligibility criteria for each course is available on the official website of the university. The counselling schedule will be announced shortly after the June 30 application deadline, the official added.
The university urged prospective students to review course-specific requirements and ensure timely submission to secure a seat in the 2025–26 academic session.
