Texas, March 25 — A 30-year-old Indian-origin man was found dead in Princeton, Texas, on Sunday, with local authorities suspecting suicide. Investigations are ongoing.

The man, identified as Abhishek Kolli from Gudivada in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district, had been reported missing a day earlier, prompting a search involving law enforcement and community volunteers. His body was discovered the next day, leaving his family devastated.

Kolli, who had been married for just a year, previously lived with his wife in Phoenix, Texas, before relocating to Princeton. His twin brother, Aravind Kolli, mentioned that Abhishek had been unemployed for the past six months and was struggling financially.

“His sudden passing is an unbearable loss for us,” Aravind said. “We want to honour his memory with dignity, without the shadow of financial worry hanging over us.”

To cover funeral expenses and transport Abhishek’s body to India, Aravind launched a GoFundMe campaign, which raised over $59,000 in less than 24 hours.

The Telugu community and Indian-Americans in the US have stepped in to offer financial and logistical support, reflecting a strong sense of solidarity.
