JALANDHAR, May 26— Jalandhar Central MLA Raman Arora was taken to Civil Hospital on Sunday evening after he complained of uneasiness during questioning by the Vigilance Bureau (VB) in connection with a graft case.
Hospital sources said the MLA had elevated pulse and high blood pressure when he arrived. He underwent a BP check-up and ultrasound scans, and was given an injection before being taken back.
While DSP Sukhdev termed the visit a routine medical check-up, hospital staff noted unusual movements — the vehicle carrying the MLA initially turned back to avoid mediapersons before returning.
The MLA did not respond to media queries about his health. Sources suggest his condition deteriorated during questioning, raising speculation around the circumstances of his medical episode.
