Jalandhar, April 6: The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police conducted a series of security sweeps at three private educational institutions on Monday morning following the receipt of threatening emails. Mayor World School, MGN Public School in Adarsh Nagar, and Delhi Public School were the recipients of the digital threats, marking the fourth such instance of coordinated school threats in the region.
Specialized police teams were deployed to the premises immediately after the reports surfaced to carry out thorough inspections. Authorities stated that no dangerous objects or suspicious activities were discovered during the search. A senior official affirmed that the situation was managed promptly to ensure the safety of all individuals on the campuses.
Given that previous similar threats in the city were determined to be hoaxes, school administrations and police officials opted to maintain regular operations. Classes proceeded without interruption, and officials declared that the information was withheld from the student body to prevent unnecessary alarm or panic. The police department maintained that they are continuing to investigate the origin of the emails.
