Mumbai,May 21: Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen playing pickleball. In the team bonding event of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the Kohli-Anushka duo played pickleball and participated in it as a couple. RCB is now going to face Sunrisers Hyderabad and before this match, the team members tried their hand at pickleball.

Apart from RCB players, support staff and their family members also came to play pickleball. RCB has posted a post on Instagram in which Kohli is seen congratulating Anushka after scoring points. Apart from these two, RCB’s batting mentor Dinesh Karthik and his wife Deepika Pallikal were also present. Deepika is India’s star squash player.
The season has been great for RCB
Before the match against Sunrisers, RCB had invited all the players and their families for this event. The current IPL season has been great for RCB and the team has qualified for the playoffs. The match between Sunrisers and RCB was to be held in Bangalore, but it was shifted to Lucknow due to the possibility of rain. Earlier, his match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 17 May was washed out due to rain.
The 65th match of IPL 2025 between RCB and Hyderabad was to be played in Bangalore, but now it has been decided to hold it at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. IPL said that in view of the bad weather in Bangalore, it has been decided to shift this match to Lucknow. The RCB team was facing trouble due to rain in Bangalore as it was not able to practice on the field, so the pickleball event has given relief to its players.
