Manali: A landslide near Dhundi in Manali on Wednesday led to the closure of the Manali-Leh road, police said.
Traffic has been stopped at Solang Nala and Dhundi as the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) works to clear the debris and restore the route, Police added.
According to reports, the road of about 2 km ahead of the Dhundi Bridge has been damaged.
All vehicles are being rerouted through Rohtang Pass from the ATR North Portal, with drivers advised to exercise caution, an official informed.
Travellers planning to use the Manali-Leh route are urged to stay updated through local news as the BRO continues efforts to clear the road, he added.
