Chandigarh, Oct 16: The 14th posthumous single of late Punjabi music icon Shubhdeep Singh Moosewala, titled ‘Kaali Hoodie’, was released on Friday and surpassed 700,000 views within two hours of its digital debut.

Featuring well-known rapper Bohemia, the 2.50-minute track offers fans a fresh installment in Moosewala’s growing posthumous discography. The release comes shortly after the second installment of the ‘Signed to God World Tour’ hologram concert in Vancouver, Canada, which uses state-of-the-art projection technology to recreate the artist’s live presence.

“His family and team are continuously releasing songs recorded by the singer during his life, due to which his music lives on among his fans spread across the world,” representatives associated with the release noted.

Moosewala was tragically killed in May 2022 in Mansa district, but his estate has systematically managed unreleased recordings, including last month’s single ‘Ghostface Killah’. The ongoing international tour—which started in Toronto on October 9—marks the first hologram-based world concert series headlined by an Indian artist, with ten dates planned across the globe.
