Patiala, Jan 30: The ongoing series of specialized medical camps reached a significant milestone at Mahaveer Dharamshala Tripuri, where hundreds of residents gathered for free holistic healthcare services.
Organized by the District Patiala Ayurveda and Homeopathic Department, this event marks the seventh successful gathering in a planned 15-camp initiative aimed at public welfare.
Official records from the day noted that 568 patients accessed free medical consultations and treatment during the session. The initiative serves as a bridge to connect the public with traditional medical systems, ensuring that essential healthcare remains accessible to all community members without a financial burden.
“Our primary goal is to provide quality healthcare at no cost while educating the public on the long-term benefits of Ayurveda and Homeopathy,” noted District Ayurveda and Unani Officer Dr. Mohan Kaushal. He added that the continued support from the community has been instrumental in the campaign’s success.
The medical team providing these services included Dr. Savita Kondal, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Rajneet, and Dr. Seetal Chaudhary, supported by a dedicated nursing staff. The administrative coordination was handled by Dr. Yoges Bhatia, who served as the Nodal Officer, alongside Superintendent Mohan Prakash Singh.

This regional health drive has already covered various locations including Chapar, Rajpura, Samana, Chamaru, Naukran, and Wajidpur. Under the guidance of Punjab Ayurveda Director Dr. Raman Khanna, the department intends to maintain this momentum through the remaining scheduled camps to ensure widespread health awareness.
