Mohali, Feb 19: Mohali legislator Kulwant Singh stated on Thursday that Mohali is on a trajectory to become the premier city of North India due to large-scale infrastructure projects currently underway. Speaking as the chief guest at a Mohali Industry Association (MIA) event, the MLA maintained that the city is undergoing a significant transformation aimed at enhancing connectivity and resolving long-standing traffic issues.

The legislator asserted that road connectivity related to the industrial area will soon be completed to streamline vehicle flow on Airport Road. He noted that while 10 intersections have already been constructed in the city, an additional 15 squares are planned for the coming days. These additions are intended to provide a more spacious layout for the city while significantly easing congestion for residents and commuters.
During the gathering, the MLA affirmed the government’s commitment to the industrial sector, noting that the administration led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working to resolve all industry-related concerns through efficient online systems. He declared that necessary approvals are now being processed within short timeframes to support local businesses.
The event was attended by MIA President Ashok Gupta and a delegation of industrial leaders, including former presidents and general secretaries. The MLA congratulated the newly elected team and maintained that they would effectively represent the needs of industrialists before the government to ensure prompt resolutions
