Muzaffarpur, June 30: The manufacturing framework of Bihar is slated for expansion following an official allocation for a new production facility inside the Industrial Area Dumaria in Muzaffarpur. The upcoming establishment represents a capital commitment of approximately Rs 14.74 crore, intending to scale regional manufacturing capacities and improve consumer access to localized interior setups.
The industrial infrastructure will span an area of 0.46 acres, incorporating specialized machinery to streamline the assembly of modern modular furniture, home and workplace interior components, and steel almirahs. The rollout received formal operational clearance during a regulatory assembly of the Project Clearance Committee of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA). Aside from increasing commercial output, the establishment is projected to create 50 direct and indirect workplace openings, supplying professional avenues and technical skill development paths for local youths.
State executives affirmed that the government remains highly focused on transforming the subcontinental manufacturing layout. Industries Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh declared that the project reflects ongoing structural efforts to create a self-sustaining manufacturing economy. “The Government of Bihar is committed to promoting investments across diverse manufacturing sectors to transform the state into a modern industrial hub,” Singh stated, adding that localized operations serve a dual purpose of expanding factory capacities and securing employment paths.
The development is backed by comprehensive ease-of-doing-business steps enacted across regional industrial zones. Secretary of the Industries Department and Managing Director of BIADA, Shri Kundan Kumar, asserted that the regional administration has set up transparent workflows and investor-focused guidelines to attract sustainable long-term corporate initiatives. Financial observers noted that specialized engineering setups will accelerate the state’s processing independence while assisting the regional manufacturing chain to operate on par with national metrics.
