Panaji, Oct 8: Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away early Thursday morning at his residence in Goa after experiencing sudden illness. According to medical professionals cited by news agency PTI, the acclaimed artist sent a message to a personal acquaintance around 3.30 am informing them that he was not feeling well.
Following the distress call, Patekar was rushed to a nearby hospital where medical staff initiated emergency procedures. Attending doctors performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) continuously for approximately 45 minutes in an effort to save his life. Despite extended resuscitation measures, he could not be revived and was declared dead at 5.10 am.
