Op Sindhoor: Trump Says ‘People Knew Something Was Coming’

Washington, May 7 — As India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ early Wednesday, hitting nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including Jaish-e-Mohammad’s stronghold in Bahawalpur, US President Trump said people knew something was going to happen.

Reacting to the escalation, US President Donald Trump said India and Pakistan “have been fighting for a long time,” adding, “people knew something was going to happen.”

“It’s a shame. We just heard about it as we were walking into the Oval,” Trump told reporters, expressing hope the conflict ends “very quickly.”
