Jammu, Nov 13: Pargat Singh, Padma Shri awardee and legislator, participated in his first review meeting as the new Secretary In-Charge of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The meeting was organized by Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary in charge of the region. PCC President Tariq Kara, AICC General Secretary, and Smt. Divya Maderna were also present.
During the meeting, Singh engaged in discussions on the party’s organizational creation campaign and strategies to strengthen the Congress structure in Jammu and Kashmir. “It is an honor to be part of this collective effort for the reconstruction and revitalization of the party in the region,” he said.
Officials said the session marked the beginning of Singh’s active role in overseeing and guiding party activities across the union territory.
