New Delhi/Chandigarh, October 13, 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has condemned the BJP following the murder of Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and senior leader of the Ajit faction of the NCP, in Mumbai’s Bandra East.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the shooting has instilled fear not only in Maharashtra but across the country.

He said that a similar atmosphere of fear exists in Delhi, alleging that the BJP aims to create a “rogue state” nationwide.

Kejriwal urged the public to stand against such actions.

Delhi government minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai expressed sorrow over the incident, stating that Mumbai, as the financial capital of the country, should not experience such violence.

He noted a concerning rise in similar incidents in Delhi over the past month or two, calling for the Home Minister and the BJP government to take the issue seriously.
